REGISTERED Representative
Melissa Minter
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Melissa graduated from Evangel Christian Academy in 2000.
Melissa is an independent Registered Representative of Osaic Wealth, Inc., member FINRA (www.finra.org)/ SIPC (www.sipc.org). Melissa hold series 6 and 63 registrations life and health insurance licenses.
Melissa joined the firm in 2008 working alongside her mother, Elizabeth Lucero as her succession plan. Melissa feels strongly about continuing her mother’s legacy and helping her clients create a strong financial future just as her mother did.
Melissa’s goal is to help clients not only achieve their personal savings/retirement goals but also educate and empower clients and help them understand there is no wrong time to start saving for what matters most. Be it saving for retirement, bucket lists, or college savings 529 plans Melissa believes there is no time too short or amount too small. If you believe it, you can achieve it!
Melissa helps her clients obtain a sense of clarity and confidence about their financial future. She is driven by her desire to help people turn their complicated, disorganized, and often overwhelming financial situation into goal-based, comprehensive wealth management strategies that they can feel good about. Melissa takes great pride in developing close relationships with her clients and facilitating the day-to-day operations to ensure the office runs smoothly.
On the weekend, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys - either at home or at the basketball court cheering them on. She currently is team mom for her husband and youngest son’s basketball team, as well as the Del Norte HS boys basketball program.
INSURANCE ASSOCIATE
James Lucero
James was born and raised in Albuquerque and is the newest member of the Lucero Financial Planning team. He graduated from St. Pius high school and received his BBA in Human Resources Management from New Mexico State University.
Licensed as a life and health, accident and sickness producer, James believes excellent customer service combined with insurance knowledge are the two key factors in effectively planning coverage for our clients.
In his spare time, James loves traveling, being in the outdoors, Alpine skiing, mountain biking, and spending quality time with family and friends. James is a life-long athlete who has participated in baseball, bowling, soccer, volleyball, kickball, track and field including NCAA Division II-Div I, and semi-pro football.
CLIENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE
Cody Flenoury
Cody attended New Mexico State University and studied business marketing. He manages the scheduling calendar, paperwork, and client databases for Lucero Financial Planning. He also assists with marketing and events.
Cody is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity. During time off, Cody enjoys spending time with his two children as well as watching and coaching basketball. Cody loves to travel and visit new places. He is an avid movie watcher.
